Surful (SUR-fahl)
[comes from "surf" and "sulfur", found in the waters of which the dragon enjoys swimming in]
Here's Qyo (KEE-oh), a huge fan of all things wet! Everyday, those who don't want to get wet try an avoid him because he would always surprise his friends with a sprinkle and a splash with a swing or whip of his antennae, which are always active and wet, just waiting to be used for such an occasion. He is also good at setting up tricks and traps (of which always invlove water) which his friens would usually fall victim to if they aren't very careful and alert. The only other dragon who seems to enjoy Qyo's surprises the most is Oki, which is why he and Qyo are best little buds!
But even more than pranking are waves, which Qyo just can't resist! Sometimes, when no one is looking, he would search for HYDRO element balls to absorb and surf because without it, he is only able to make smaller waves.
Qyo looks after a little girl named Bonnie, who studies aquatic life and helps her father with protecting the ocean by doing little things like picking up litter. Qyo loves to learn about aquatic life and watch Bonnie do this and helps out as much as he can. At night, before the two go to sleep, Bonnie would always read to Qyo an encyclopedia of the ocean and what lies within it. Sometimes Qyo would listen and sometimes he would play the last little trick of the day on his friend, to which she would giggle or otherwise not mind.
Qyo is of the HYDRO element. He is able to make little whirlpools and tidal waves (like his best friend), but those attacks can strengthen when in contact with the element ball of his element. Qyo can also slam his long tail into the water for a super splash or swing his tail and hit an opponent with it. Qyo's tail is unique because it is one of the longest of all the dragons.
